Request Money on PalmPay: Everything You Need To Know

PalmPay App

Before, PalmPay allow users to request money from one another so far that they're both using the fintech app to manage their daily finances. But now, the feature has been disabled on PalmPay because scammers are using it to perform fake transfers to PalmPay users and POS agent.

Since PalmPay doesn't currently have a built-in request money feature, you can focus on alternative methods to let someone know you need money.

How to Request Money

To request money from anyone in Nigeria and your finance app doesn't support "request money " features, try contact the person directly. You can use a messaging platform (like text message, WhatsApp, Telegram e.t.c.) to directly ask for money.

Follow these tips:

"Hi, I hope you're doing well. I was wondering if I could borrow N10,000 for supporting my school project. I'll be able to pay you back on March 25, 2024. Thanks!"

Make sure you give reasonable reasons for requesting the money even if that's not what you want to use it for. But for the person to consider borrowing you the money, you have to be much reasonable.

Once the person have agreed to give you the money, you can use your PalmPay Account to receive the money.

Final thoughts

While PalmPay doesn't have a built-in request function, reaching out directly and clearly explaining your situation is just as effective. By following these tips and fostering open communication, you can easily navigate money exchanges with friends and family on PalmPay.
